  1. Old Users (Not referring to your age)
  2. Please remove the old DA. I get many calls from people complaining that the new feaures don't work. I find that they are still using the old version.
  3. Replace the AdBk Help file as there are some changes.
  4. If you already use Address Book, keep your existing AdBk prefs file.

  6. New users.
  7. Create an “Address Book” folder and put the AdBk Help and all list files in it.  Address Book will create an "AdBk prefs" file in this same folder. 
  8. Install the DA with the Font-DA mover or Suitcase™
  9. You will require the Address Book application program to do printing.
  10. The DA and application would normally use the same prefs, help and list files.

  12. For Address Book version 1 and 2 users.
  13. Address Book v3 will open your version 1 or version 2 list file and convert it to the new format. 
  14. The DA no longer requires the Addr_list file to be in the system folder nor has it to be named "Addr_list".

  16. Shareware....
  17. If you are using Address Book and have not registered , please send $30 U.S. or $38 canadian shareware fee to receive the latest version of the DA, the application program and a 70 page instruction book.

  19. If you have previously paid the version 1.x $10 or the version 2.x $20 shareware fee then please make up the difference.
